Dr. Price joined the practice in August of 2011. She grew up in Scottsdale before attending the University of Arizona in Tucson. She graduated summa cum laude with a double major in molecular & cellular biology and psychology and was granted membership into Phi Beta Kappa. She then finished at the top of the 2004 University of Arizona’s medical school class. In addition, she accomplished a full pediatric residency at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and became board certified in pediatrics. Subsequently, she completed her dermatology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, one of the top dermatology training programs in the country, where she was honored to serve as chief resident. She also received specialized training at the University of Miami with a clinical research fellowship in pediatric dermatology and was a principle investigator for a multi-center research trial on infantile hemangiomas, which recently achieved national recognition.
Dr. Price is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also a member of the Women’s Dermatology Society, the American Medical Association, and the Society for Pediatric Dermatology. She has been an active volunteer within her community for over a decade, serving indigent patients without access to healthcare as well as educating the community on sun safety/awareness and performing skin cancer screenings. Her fluency in medical Spanish has enabled her to volunteer abroad in places such as Costa Rica and Mexico. She has over 30 publications within the field of dermatology, is an active speaker at national conferences, and is dedicated to teaching, research, and the enhancement of skin diseases in patients of all ages. She specializes in general medical & pediatric dermatology, skin cancer surgery and cosmetics.
Dr. Price, along with her husband and 16-month-old son, is very excited to be returning to Arizona to rejoin her family and friends. Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, dancing, photography, traveling, and cooking.
