I am extremely grateful that I heard you talk about melanoma and that I saw the picture you showed of melanoma under a toe nail. As you know I did not have melanoma under my toe nail (as you so kindly checked it out for me), but I was telling my younger sister about it and she apparently does have melanoma under her toe nail. Because I told her about your picture, she showed me her toe nail, which had a similar black mark under it. I told her to go and see her doctor right away and she has just been told by her family doctor that it probably is melanoma and will be referred to a dermatologist asap. Thank you, thank you, thank you – hopefully you can imagine how grateful we are that you showed that particular slide.
